Today happens only once

Unedited doogle of creator sitting with herself and two cats.

A day with myself. Unpolished doodles on the printed pages of my book manuscript.

Days like today should not be rare, but they are.

The sky is still bright despite the unusually cool and rainy morning air. Today's dawn is so full of dewy freshness. On a day like this, the tea brews deeply, the oud amber incense burns slowly, time hardly moves, and every moment feels fleeting and valuable.

We fail to remember that this is our innate ability to take breaks with no plans other than to allow each moment to be filled with wonder, acceptance, and being.

We must be reminded that we should not live like the unconscious, who go about their daily lives mindlessly in order to fulfill their roles in the capitalist system. Today's hours and minutes only occur once. Tomorrow will bring new possibilities and new timelines.

Therefore, don't rush things. Today is a one-time event.
