Constellation of Deep Regulation

No matter how many adventures we pencil into our life’s itinerary, our biggest and deepest self-discovery starts at home.

Our external environment is often a reflection of the state of our inner regulation. Our living space also reflects the level of comfort we sit within our body, the coherence of our mind and whether we’re experiencing inner balance or upheaval.

An Ecosystem of Coherence

What we surround ourselves with, reflects the things that we hold to be important to us.

When we have inner coherence, our home space is stable, grounded, soft and unique with characteristics specific to us as individuals.

How you spend your free time reflects whether you’re able to set boundaries, prioritise actions that generate long term sustainability for your peace of mind.

My best weekends are days of deep home and self-care, deep regulation, unhurried home-cooked meals and creative flow. For me, it looks like 20% spent in cleaning and organisation, 20% spent on podcasts, 20% of plant and kitty love (and maybe some social activities), 20% of yoga and 20% of creative work. This constellation of cats, home, space and time, returns me to my foundation. It’s the matrix from which I create and weave beautiful energies for my life. When I don’t get to do these, I feel a little compressed and off - like something is missing.

Set your personal space for optimal regulation 🪷

My hope for the world is that more will find homes that support this inner space - where love, no matter the form it takes, creates a constellation of safety, support and grounded possibilities.

But if you’re stuck in a situation where such safety, freedom and network of support do not and cannot exist, know that you’re also more than your body and physical environment. While your physically constricted, your mind and consciousness remains free.

Sometimes we live in situations we cannot yet control (wars, deep poverty, oppressive systems, etc). It’s difficult but not impossible. But know that there are ways to still maintain sovereignty and mental space for emotional regulations. Meditation, for example, is one way.

Meditation allows you to go so deep into yourself, you meet the incredible expansiveness of your consciousness. This consciousness allows you to operate on a level that comes from safety, security and trust in the cosmic plans of your soul. It becomes a guiding reminder to you that you’re more than this life and that you’re intricately integrated into the fabric of this world (and beyond).

You’re not living a life, you are the life.
